the 5/16 thread size is what I need for the OS 160 but I just found out that the Topflite Cessna 182 is about 7 inches deep from firewall to front of the cowl. The 160 twin is about 4.72" deep from...

So basicly how the extension is attached to the motor is by screwing it on to the existing prop shaft?
