RE: Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

Well I finally changed my gearBent original wire a little a couple of times but was letting friend fly it and after a couple of landings I said to take it around one more time-it is electric powered...

RE: Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

HobbyTown in Fort Smith, Arkansas has a new one in stock for $230.00 (not $280.00) Call 479-649-9229 if interested, ask for John who is the owner. I bought mine originally from him and he is great to...

RE: Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

Yes- I am flying with E-Flite 46 and very pleased with it. Half throttle most of the time. I do use a 5S-5000mah pack. Much stronger than 4S pack. Will do most anything you want unless you want a lot...

RE: Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

Looking for a Pilot for Pawnee !!!
I found the 1/6 scale O&G full figure civilian from hppilots.com to be a fairly goog fit.
I had to cut the fuzzy seat base down to a very thin profile, plus cut...

RE: Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

Small note on the wheel collars -my flats had to be ground farther in toward fusilage. The axles were not fully seated in outer hub - I should have noticed earlier but "Assumed"
No big deal but it...

RE: Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

I do not have a lot of experience in Glider towe stuff so I respectfully bow to your experience. My friends and I did do some stuff years ago by puuling up a glider with the Hooker I mentioned in...

RE: Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

Just my opinion but the E-Flite 90 and 110 would be terrible overkill for this plane, not to mention prop clearance problems and probally to much stress for the construction.
I installed the...

RE: Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

Flew mine today with the E-Flite 46 and upgrade to 5 cell 5000 mah battery. Perfect size combination for this plane. Off and flight at a little over half throttle in about 50 feet or less. This is...

RE: Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

I agree with your logic 100% ---- I am just making it easy on myself, remember I may end up changing out the 46 to a larger 60 motor (electric) which will require added wieght. The seat area is very...

RE: Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

Just finished mine. I am going with the recommended E-Flite 46 (electric) for power since I had it. Also have the E-Flite 60 for backup replacement if required, it is a bolt in swap and only extends...
