You'd be surprised how good aluminum conducts the water temp to that plate and then to the ESC innerds.

CF45 should not cavitate. That should be a rocket out of the hole. CF48 is tough on batteries. Be careful with it. you may want to check for binding.

1. the conductivity of the material. (look up conductivity of various metals). But there you are really at the mercy of the supplier as you can't verify that...
