Whitewolf, my dad had the same problem..He was a master tinsmith and was drafted and had to leave his shop and work in a place making what-ever from sheet metal. Always complained about the money...

Thanks so much for posting the photos. Having been active in military museums for many years and being severely restricted in doing anything to maintain artifacts, it is really reassuring to see...
