the xbr seems great! its really fast. but if you think about it, the 8.5 is the biggest brushless motor the xbr can handle. thats probably why its getting hot. my stupid carbon fiber chassis is so...

what gearing do you guys recommend for my DI with the novak xbr 8.5? right now i have 82/21 i believe, and the motor/esc get alittle too hot for my liking. also, i use ae spurs.

also, i plan on racing the car. does that make a difference in what to get? do you have any links were i can get the slipper, shocks, etc.

i am considering getting a dark impact, what do you all recomend i get for it in the begining (ex. titanium turnbuckles, slipper, etc.)?? i plan on a brushless system, 5.5, 6.5, or 7.5 novak.
