The problem I was having was that the set screw doesnt stay tight.Even with Loctite on it. I tried to tighten it again last week and it stripped ! My solution was to drill the hole all the way...

Kinda looks like everything from the main shaft up will have to be replaced.Might be cheaper to buy an ARF and do th conversion.Definately let us know when ya see parts !!

I finally got my metal head core in and its smoooooooooth.No vibration on spoolup , but my battery was about dead so I didnt get to fly.I have my timer set and it`ll be charged when I get home :D.

Hey AirGerbil , I use a lamp timer cus I`m gettin old and forgetful .I set it for an hour and it werks ! Ordered the metal rotor core today , and I`m sure its coming by sled dog:D
