RE: The GTP Thread

For more rear protection, I used the entire front bumper from my wrecked one, and mounted to the rear just like the front one. Fits like a glove and not very heavy. I think a center post is a good...

RE: The GTP Thread

Looks like this thread is dying off, so thought I might bring it back to life:). Haven't had much time to play lately with mine, between being down with a monster cold and trying to get ready for...

RE: The GTP Thread

Hey Mufasa, 1st thing would be tires. No matter what else you put in it, you go nowhere without tires:D. I used a stock ofna servo untill the big crash, so if it still works ok, that can wait. So, I...

RE: The GTP Thread

I want to as well, but cash is slow this year. Maybe over the winter months I can get time and money for it. Want the milled chassis(or home brewed custom chassis) and want to make c/f towers as...

RE: The GTP Thread

LOL! My axial did the same thing, but caught it before it came all the way out. I used some rtv sealant on the threads when I put it back to stock setting and left it there. First test run after...

RE: The GTP Thread

I hear ya there. I have so many projects in the works that I need a break or finish them all:). The 12 cell set up would rock if you can make room in there for them, but if it ain't broke...like you...

RE: The GTP Thread

I use 50k front and 10k rear, works good for me, but bro likes 120k front and I think 20k rear. I like the single speed, but not enough gearing options for it, I use the shoe type 2speed so I can...

RE: The GTP Thread

Nice job on the body! Will try to get some of mine up soon. Mine has much more damage though[&o]. That's the bad part of these, bodies are so expensive by the time you get paint shot on them that you...

RE: The GTP Thread

That's the main reason I went with 2 speed, not enough options out really. Plus I like having the combo of great acceleration, and good top end too. Bummer about the bodies not fitting with extended...

RE: The GTP Thread

Right now for break in using 14/18 pinions and 45/49 spurs. Trying a losi ht pipe for now, then will try a JP3, and if not happy with either of these 2 will get an 086 pipe for it. So far today just...

RE: The GTP Thread

Thanks for the suggestions above;). Using stock springs for now, but will try heavier fluid in them. Got the rear camber link set pretty well now as well, so it doesn't gain so much when suspension...

RE: The GTP Thread

Tried the losi HT pipe today. Paired with the lrp it was good off the line, fell kinda flat in the midrange, then picked up again on top. So far I like the jp2 the best. Kinda weak on the very...
