Why'd you have to send it back in?

I love mine but lately it shows some extra characters in the display. it still works O.K. but is kindof unnerving...

They are real nice servos, BUT... and I mean a MAJOR but...

Do NOT use loctite on the screws... most wouldn't consider it anyhow due to it being a plastic type output shaft and the screws being...

How about a 50cc Funtana with an 85-90" wing? The EF Yak will be 87" and approx. 15.5-16 lbs... Hubba-hubba...

For me 50cc is the sweet spot... a good power to wieght ratio, not as bad or...

A person could remove the elevator servos and replace with one stronger servo setup with a double pull-pull as in the Dave Patrick Ultimate.

You'd lose about 2 oz of servo weight and an oz or so...

Istarted with an APC 14x8 on 15% and got a sloppy 9250... maybe leaned out to 9400-9500...

Then I switched to a APC 15x6 and 30 Coolpower heli fuel... 9900 and the engine ran so smooth,...

Here's what I did on the Yak to get the 100 to balance it... the .82 is going to be a stretch but pt'll do it..


A 1/8" aircraft ply tounge (lightned with 3/4" holes" sticks the battery over...

I agree with cstevec...

Even if the torque/vibration didn't shorten the life of the airframe, it would cause a good bit of torque in the plane's flight... hit the throttle and the plane would...

If you are belwo 1000 ft... then the Saito 100 on 30% will rock the house... and save a few 5-6 oz...

A YS 1.10 would be perfect for this plane... but add 30% Nitro to that Saito (in the lower elevations) and it'll really have excellent power...

It pulls my 8 lb 2 oz EF Yak around with little...

The only problem with an inverted engine (especially a non-pumped 4 stroke) is flooding and hydro-locking...

Some guys use hemostats to pinch the line to thecarb when the fill.
