I sure wish you could make the trip to the Rhinebeck Jamboree second weekend of september. Would love to see this airplane in the skies over the aerodrome. Plus I'm sure you'd be going home...

I'm very interested in the pros and cons of using this polycrlic method of sealing the fabric. I'm still stuck in the nitate, buytarite dope finishing, it's very costly and smelly and time...

Yes sheeting of course. The real one was plywood. A little soaking of the wood first if needed. I guess I'm more of a full scale practice guy. There's nothing wrong with balsa of course. I really...

Why not spruce stringers on the fuse? 1/3 scale right ? Or even bass, You guys use plywood or balsa for sheeting?

I mounted a g-62 upright in my fokker 1/3 scale D-8. It enabled me to build a nice dummy engine hanging down with no Gas motor being seen behind it. Cooling is achieved from holes in fire wall...
