Hmm, I think if the buggy is fitted with bigger and heavier wheels + tyres, there'll be more loads on the hub bearings and your steering bits will have to work harder as well. Watch your rear shock...

Haha, urgh..if that's a common thing then I'll just rebuild the older "damaged" diff and save the newer one for later with the carbide balls when they come. :D

Stellamodels has new stock of the DF02 universals! :D Just ordered them to replace my DF03 dogbones! :D Got sick of my dogbones dropping out and I just lost one last week too! [:@]

Probaby beef up your drivetrain (e.g. hard diff outdrives, CVD, slipper clutch) and lipo like rc monkey suggested. :)

Hmm.. I doubt I should reuse the old diff balls. I have spare diff 3Racing outdrives and a diff gear + plates, but think will fit new balls (no pun intended) inside. The hex screw was protruding out...

Hmm..I literally flooded the rear diff with ball diff grease when I assembled it. One thing though, are you guys using the stock Tamiya diff outdrives etc? Am using 3Racing's hard diff outdrives, so...

Just opened up the diff again and discovered that I may have tightened the diff too much! :eek: The diff plates are pitted in the groove, which probably made it feel gritty.

Thanks and welcome! :D As long as the corners of your holes are rounded, they won't rip (if they really do in a bad crash) as easily as ones with sharp corners. :D

Haha! Noticed that the rear end was sliding out quite a bit then saw that my rear camber was positive, so I adjusted it after that. :D

Thanks! :D Yup yup, it initially had positive camber cus I'm using 3Racing's ti turnbuckles and followed the measurements on Tamiya's model. Didn't realise that 3Racings black plastic adjuster...
