If you obviously can not tell that it needs to be cut, then do not cut it.


Post pictures and we can very quickly answer your dilemma on rather or not the cable needs cut or not.

Your nose diving in the corners is because your COG is to far forward. Has nothing to do with your turnfin.
Your turnfin should be all the way down in the water standing straight up and down.

Ive got 12 other complete boats and 2 being built now.

If you run a 4s cut off it will be set up on a total of 4s power.

You are running 4s total for power with 2 2s packs.

I dont have any experience with the Novak cut-offs.

You dont need any magnets or anything else to help keep the latch down if your doing a good job of taping it down and completely sealing it.

If you dont like the way the boat handles then you really need to change hulls before you try "making things better" when in reality, things may get much worse.
