I bent mine's like that on my old Osmose, and holded pretty well(2 years), of course, the bend was at the spring coil, so there are no sharp bends on the wire wich is tempered.

Tuny , I think thier concern is because the Osmose came with the hollow type, the solid rod will not split.

I don't why I'm writing this, I call you, jojojojo
