Man those batteries look fried! That happened to me with my first motor. I fried it though!!! Got a new one from aquacraft.
I would suggest getting the DTX 4200 or DTX 3800...

Wheelnut: Are you saying you can replace the shaft strut bushing with a ballbearing? A bearing would work better and less friction, but has any of you guys tried it?
