well I dont have a way to measure temp, but I know when I have it geared high it gets too hot to touch. So ill go with the 17 tooth and see how hot it gets then, Thanks

Is the drop in the pinion because of the drop in the turns of the motor? So if it ends up being about the same speed as stock doesnt that defeat the purpose of going lower on the motor turns. For...

So lower on the pinion? How many teeth lower without sacrificing too much speed
