I just fried my speed control running 14 cells. Funny thing is that the ESC never got hot during a normal run. I actually started noticing it acting up with 12 cells. I'm just starting to clean up...

Well .....I just blew up (Literally) my best batteries; 6 cell IB 4200's. I was charging them under the hood of my car but under direct sunlight. When I went out to check on them, they were done...

I just soldered the flex shaft back onto the solid part of the shaft....very easy fix. I also checked the shaft after I resoldered it to make sure that it was true.... I rolled it on a glass table....
