No they are the same price.
On a truggy I would say use the orange head for better fuel economy, and it still makes nice power, for a MT I would say use the Teal head for more power

Actually IMO the 427 has a harder "hit" in the power curve.
The LRP makes more power everywhere, but its smoother power.
Read my other posts in this thread again, friend;)Perhaps a good comparo...

I dunno, but peak hp and rpms are just a piece of an engines power delivery.
Look at the OS28 vs teh Ninja/GRP 28
The OS makes more peak hp, but teh Ninja will run away from it

No.
Known differences:
Teal head has larger carb
Teal head has higher compression head button.
Teal head has different piston and sleeve.
And of course, the teal colored head, lol

Great question.
Without a doubt the LRP is the better engine for the LST2, thought the teal head 427 is really close.
The biggest difference to me that I feel, is although the LRP Spec3 makes...

The 427 is lightly larger, but has more ports (7 vs 3)
Its a sweet engine, esp teh teal head variant
