Yeah I know the dI driver was not that great, but hey you can hear the difference in a shaft-drive and belt-drive.:D

If you go brushless in it get a slipper, otherwise you dont need it for a low turn 19T modified.:D

Oh and make sure you put the correct size ball bearing on the smaller shaft.
I put a bigger bearing than what it was supposed to have and I stripped that gear completely.

All I need is a dirt oval body for the dark impact, that's it.
No modding needed except maybe some Bolink body mounts.:D
Can just run dirt hawgs, and it will look the part. Basically what that...

I'm still thinking of doing a Dirt Oval conversion to my Dark Impact.
A guy at the track(my B44) that I hit his XXX-4 ran a dirt oval body on his.
So it is posssible to do to a 4wd buggy. :D

I'm not running it 2WD because there is NO OVAL RACE CLASS in my hometown.
You need to convert your TC4 to a dirt oval I think id be sweet!!;)
Even that Dirt Oval has 2 classes for it, 2WD and...

I plan on doing something different to mine also. DIRT OVAL...it can hopefully be done...
I doubt I could outrun the Intimidator, but at least it will look the part hopefully.:D

Put the DF-03 front tires on my B44 rims.;)
Should have used the rears too, but proline Bowties should work the same way.:eek:
Hopefully the B44 will drive just as good as my Dark Impact, we'll...

I've moved up to a b44 w/ a brushless, but still thinking about the dirt oval conversion on my Dark Impact...:D
Yeah I raced my DI for a season and a half, and it was fun to race, but gota move up...

I didnt have threaded shock bodies so I had to use pre-load spacers, nevertheless it all works the same way.
But threaded bodies are alot easier and spring tension is better, among other...
