Re-ajust the low needle valve. Start at 1 1/2 turns out.

The low needle is very touchy. If not set right the enginewill be hard to start.

Check for a leak  around the crank case.

When I converted to the rear carb I found a leak around the case. This makes the engine run lean.

Guys!
You ask would the SPE-26 Turn a 18-10 prop, It does. The RPM Is only about 6000, but the SPE is not a high RPM engine.
It likes the lower RPM with higher pitch. I tried everything from a 16-6...
