It runs well when I can keep it together. The big tires are the problem.
I used the 85T spur that came with the kit and it runs dead even with my friends RC10 T3 with a Mamba Max 4600. Heat...

It doesn't fit at all. That is why I went to the truck body. Not flat, not on its side, nothing. I used a bracket to get it above the chassis.
The motor doesn't want to fit either, the leads go...

The first running of my "truckifyed" Dark Impact was a failure. The large wheels cause the upper links to pop off all the time. I couldn't hardy drive it, the slightest tumble or jump would cause...

I think I solved the problem with some HPI outdrives. They are little longer, on both sides of the pin hole.

Not quite. My offset is fine, the wheels clear all the steering and suspension. Basically what I need is a foil shaft with extra length in the thread area.
