Flew the maiden this morning. It is still a little nose heavy, but not much. The os46ax is more than enough engine. I'm very pleased with the outcome. Good flying plane and engine for 200.00.

The Tower Kaos 40 is finished. Weight came in at 5lbs. even. I replaced most of the hardware on the plane. With the pinned hinges everything works so smooth you dont hardly here the servos.:) I'm...

Take a look at the video in post #4 at the start of this thread. It is a built kit with mods. It also has a irvine 53 powering it.

If your kaos is a tower 40 size with a clipped wing, It might fly with a 60 in it. It would land pretty hot. If it flys good now, why mess it up. If its a 60 size go for it. The 60 tower kaos is...

The wingspan on the tower 60 kaos is 61.5.

The root rib is the same as a super. Dont know about the rest. Engine is side mounted also.
It has a built-up stab, solid vertical stab and rudder. Uses kevlar for wing support with no shear webs....

I was looking in my attic today. I found a ultimate kaos 40 kit I forgot I had. The box says it has a 55 7/8 ws. 562 w/area,18oz. loading,52.25 lenght. 4.4 lbs.
What would make a good engine for...
