Everything can be reinforced , if for nothing else piece of mind, the firewall, new and larger hinges on all control surfaces, pin the aileron boxes into the foam, use epoxy, and do the landing gear...

I just checked my revolver, a 2-56 allen headed machine screw will fit, the length is about 1/2", if its too long it shouldn't matter, if that doesn't work replace both of the screws and the blind...

I soldered the two control rods together,not sure if your going to do that, but gives a little extra insurance from vibration and coming loose, it can be done once everything is in place.

Consider adding more wood to the tail wheel area where it is glued to the fuse, it is a weak spot also, there are pics of how otheres have done it on this thread
