RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

The futaba 9650 is a mini servo like the hitec 5245 so fits absolutely fine with no mods.

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

I have had no problems with my hitec 5245 on steering and have a futaba 9650 on steering. I can't say i have noticed any difference between the 2 servos.

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

I have a s9650 on throttle its very quick but has a plastic top gear that i thought was dissapointing for such a costly servo. I have not had any problems with it though.

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

Pull as mush wiring out of the rx box as you can, tie it up and put it behind the throttle/brake servo. Make sure non of it is anywhere near the spur gear and fix with some tape or another tie.

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

Yes but i think you will need to use the spacers supplied with the kit to give the pullstart the clearance needed. If i were you though i would buy a non pullstart engine and get the dinky starter...

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

The 5245mg is a great little servo has plenty of power for steering even when used at 4.8v, at times its almost too quick. I honestly dont know why people want to use full size servos in the .5...

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy
