ALMOST THREE GALLONS DOWN!!

she has over 60 flights on her - and still i have NO complaints about the plane OR the engine...

just outstanding...and the new big question is...

95" 182 SKYLANE or

i have the 645's on the elevator and ailerons...and 945's on the rudder...

although the 645's are good - the difference between them and the 945's is light years...
the 945 behaves much more...

as for the earlier BME rpm thing...
im running a 22x10 mejzlik @ 6900-7000 rpms
and - ive only turned the low end 1/8 of a turn lean....

i had a problem with my BME too a while back...ignition was the cause...but NOT really...i ALSO took everything apart and it all looked fine...until i looked UNDER the plug wire...it had been rubbing...

PROP BALANCING

ive been balancing my props by spraying clear laquer on the back of the light side till they stop dead center...im just too lazy to sand and sand and sand some more.

oh - im up to about 50 flights...

after having my BME...i cant imagine EVER wanting to go back to glow power...

gas is cheaper - more reliable - and sounds better...!!! (i wont even get into performance...)

ive got over 40 flights on my BME...and so far - all ive done is lean out the low end about 1/8 of a turn...although - i think its about time to adjust the high end too - she maxes out on rpms...

arent you supposed to "break the engine in" in the air...

not nagging - but thats what it says in the BME manual...or does it just not matter.
