No electronics required, but you would need to supplement the black powder charge given the large volume of the rocket.

If you're having trouble finding a large field, take a look at the LOC Minni Magg. That's the short silver rocket in the picture. You can fly it on high power motors, but still can use G motors...

The Hyperloc is ready to shoot some color and the Minni Magg has a little detail painting left. Great kits.

Ok, starting construction. Really like the Minie Magg, it's amazing the range of motors it can fly on. As for the Hyperloc, I'm going to have to rethink my launch pad!
