Here's a quick little teaser video of it's first flight after repaint. HEAVY crosswinds as you'll see on landing. And before anyone asks, no, I don't use gyros.

Controller

Sorry but I can't give you a good answer on the controller as all of my jet's gear are pneumatic. I have set up other people's jet's with electric and used what they supplied.

Cheetah engine mounting

I used a piece of 1 1/2" x 1/8" aluminum stock, drilled engine and rail mounting holes, make sure engine mounts are on the bottom of the aluminum or in this case toward the top of the plane to ensure...

The s5197 is 20 mm. Wasn't sure about the mounting plate for the elevator Servo.
Is it just a flat plate or is it cut out in the center to allow the servo to drop in a little deeper.
