I run the front sway bar for racing dirt oval. Very effective for corner control. I would not put one on if your just bashing though, pretty easy to break the plastic loops that snap on to the ball...

Bigstang,
Pull the engine off of the frame and slot the engine adjustment slots a bit more and you will be able to use your new spur. If you dont want to do that, get the BX bell and it will reach.

Marking the pinion gear will tell you if the motor is stopping or not starting in a certain position. Helps to identify if you have a dead spot.

Mark the pinion gear on top with a marker when it does not go on it's own. Next time it does not go on it's own check to see if your mark is at the top, if it is, chances are the motor has an issue....

Robinson racing makes a 65tooth steel spur for the RC10GT. The biggest spur I have run on the evader is a 64tooth. The bolt pattern is the same, dont know if you can get it to clear the suspension...

That engine has a different crank so it will not work without some different parts for the clutch/bell assembly. There are e-bay stores that sell the DTX engine for $75 new so I doubt you will get...
