MM, Not to add to your misery, but you could come down here and be cooked...100 degrees yesterday and more today. Heat indexes above 110... and its a wet heat 100% humidity it sucks...so be careful...

Well guys, she was a great plane while she lasted (note I said was). I had a complete radio failure on my third flight. Unfortunatly this makes for a very expensive piece of fun about $140.00 bucks...

I used Ohio Superstar Products tailwheel. I had to build up the plate in the tail a little bit but it was easy.

OK here are some pics of my spring loaded cross braces.

I used 8 lb springs from HomeDepot and streched them a little to ensure they were already loaded. I just pull tested them...

I know earlier in the thread someone put wire cross bracing on and said that it stiffened the gear up completely, I did not want to translate everything into the airframe because like you bubbagates...
