Marco, that is what I finally settled on. I have a DLE30 rear carb model to put on it. My question to you is does it fit completely within the cowl or did you have to cut part of it?

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

That looks great. So in reality you are flying with the equivalent of a 12s 5000 MAH Lipo? What is the C rating of the packs you are using?

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

I'm not sure I understand your question, but you could use very thin plywood 1/16" or 1/32" to match the shape of the rails and paint it to look like metal. If you need it to slide then you could try...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

Handyman,

The Sierra gear would give you some usable nose weight as it is heavier than the Robart gear. Congrats on getting your baby finished. I started this thread a long time ago and mine...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

It appears to be some type of plastic. You don't have to glue it into the aileron but the trailing edge piece should be epoxied into the slot in the trailing edge of the wing.
