RE: New Great Planes Revolver

Beaver180, I really like the looks of that engine. I bet that it has more power than my os. This 70 is the only os that I have left. I have been slowly over the years going to Thunder tiger. I...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

I don't know how long that I can fly it with the stock tank. I usually fly about 15 minutes and have OVER 1/2 tank left. I flew it for 25 minutes once and I only burned about 3/4 of a tank. I...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

I am running at 9,500 static. Sometimes more. I need to adjust the lifters and I will get more power and rpms out of this same prop. Need more. 13x5.5 master airscrew prop. The reason for the...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

That is absolutely right , guys! The more power the better!! Like I said, you don't have to fly at full throttle all the time but is is really nice to have it when you need it or want it. the OS...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

lippucci, if you were asking me, I am running an os 70 surpass II with a 13x5.5 master airscrew prop. I get nearly unlimited vert. with this combo but all out speed isn't really there. Big fan +...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

As I stated in a couple of posts previously, I moved by C/G back about a 1/4 inch from recomended (I read to do this from a previous post) and found out that I was flying about 4-6oz nose heavy. I...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

Oh, way sorry about your loss Cav, That really sucks. I don't mind crashing a plane when it is completely my faut ie, dumb thumbing into the ground. But I HATE mechanical failures (ones that I...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

Seems that everyone has that problem. You just have to gently work it on. A small hairdryer to heat it up (SLIGHTLY) helps too.

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

The vert. stabilizer is foam with sheeting? How about the horizontal stabilizer? I knew this plane was tough, but that is just awesome to know! I wish that all ARFs were built this way. Cudos to...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

The thing that I noticed, Phil, is that when you go from a 60 to bigger, the max rpms drop significantly although the horsepower increases. So, with a certain weight of a plane you have to find that...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

I think that it is a 12x5.5. master airscrew classic. I like those props. I went with the 5.5 pitch for more low end power. It also slows the plane down for the landings. The only problems that I...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

Well I did some research today and Yes, the thunder tiger 90 is only 19.83oz. Funny thing is that most manufacturers are stating that it is 19.83oz with the muffler but I hardly believe that. My 70...
