How can you dye them? I'd rather have black or gray wheels. I think you get much more freedom with the paint scheme if the rims are not white.

I'm afraid they flake very easily when painted.

I'm a noob at actualy driving nitro cars in anger but I guess you could put a heavier oil in the center diff so if the front has less traction the front wheels will not spin that uncontrolled. I...
