I just finished floating my converted Sig 1/6 scale Super Cub. The floats are hollowed pink foam with hardwood hardpoints. Not very origional but flies and looks good. Here's a link to the tread...

My scratch built Grumman Ag-cat. 42" or so and 3.5 lbs on floats. A magnum .30fs pulls it nicely. I may recover it like the ag-cats on floats in the movie "The Phantom".
