ooooh i cant answer that one as i was brushless before i did the swap

eeeh i should rather say i had to do the swap because i had brushless

i think the gearing will be similar to going two...

i got the cen diff from cen gst

i just took the complete diff and pinion and swapped them over to the hellfire diff casing the cool thing is that the cen dogbone cups fit the hellfire dogbones...

im not sure how it handles yet as i still haven't sent my speed controllers to be repaired as they went up in smoke.

but i know that it will handle better than before as the front tires were...

as they are soft stainless i have had to replace them now and then after a crash but no problem as i have lot of extra stainless material but the good thing is that the rear arm brace does no longer...

im running

original 52t spur
and 15t on the motor
cen diffs witch is pinion 9t and ring 26t
then i use 7" goliath tires
and this high gearing is possible because im running brushless....

other than shimming you dont have to do any mods as even the cen diff cups fit the hellfire dogbones then you just use the hellfire cup on the pinion

still you need to run small cb as the cen...

just as you use shims to get the pinion closer to the diff cup you also need to make sure it cant go to close to the cup

you must use the drive shaft collar that goes on the pinion as a stopper...

i set mine with a little bit preload on the ring into the pinion as im running big tires and there is allot of stress on the ring and pinion

i think that just taking out all the slop with the...

i have done the helical lsp diffs in my hellfire they worked great till i got the brushless in it they just shreaded even tho well shimmed

yeah the hellfire turns better in one direction but a overkill servo takes care of that with ease i got myself a ace ds 1015 its rated 14kg from manufacturer but has been tested to give a solid 21kg...

but i am working on a new set that will allow the arm to pop off if the front tires get a hard hit

then the front arm just pop out without a damage and it can be popped in without tools

the shims are just original hellfire shims

and the hinge pins. i make those myself you can just copy the pics and make your own set you only need a set for the front end just use stainless 4mm...

you can do this to make the front end stronger it eliminates the rear brace from ripping out and bend. its the top post

the ace ds1015 servo its the best truggy servo you can get. most accurate fastest and has more than the strength you need. but get a digital remote to be able to get the best out of it.
