RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

That's great guys, thanks for your help. I found a Foretrex 201 for a little cheaper than a Forerunner 201 but I believe that they are pretty similar so I went with that. Now I just have to wait...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Geez guys, I almost feel guilty for starting this discussion. I was out looking for advice/experience on this flexing rudder situation not to start a heated debate. The way I see it, everyone has...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Upon further review of River Rat's pictures, I have noticed another similarity with our set-ups. It looks like your prop is set pretty far back on the drive shaft. I had to set mine further back as...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

The rudder is rotating at the mount. However, the screws are on pretty tight and the force needed to rotate the rudder is considerable. So whatever is getting it to move must be applying...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Sorry I don't have any pictures right now. However, to clarify: if you look at the boat from behind, the rudder would be angled to the left (toward the prop) not bent just shifted

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

I'm puzzled. The other day, after a pretty good run at the pond, I was inspecting the boat and noticed that the rudder was off center (bottom of rudder tilted to port side) I didn't give it much...
