the control surfaces are so small i dont think i wanna take the chance to increase them beyond recommended, but if your going to fly it like you stole it.....then by all means, increase the throws...

I am using the bison pitts muffler instead of the stock, i am not sure on how that effects fuel performance.

I will start leaning it out a bit on the next few flights. I flew the plane at WOT...

So I finally maidened my SD50 today, it was quite a success after 2 minor bumps.

I asked a fellow hobbyist to spot while i flew, he is quite experienced with flying turbine...

i think you are on the money when you suggested the mixture adjustment valve (LSN), i was reading the manual and it directly stated, "if micture valve is too rich, when full throttle is applied then...

thanks for the tips tsawyer, i will tray a 12x8 tomorrow and start leaning it out a bit, i wanted to break it in a bit better on rich setting before starting to lean out,

sorry about the confusion, I am actually using a 13x6 prop, i checked in the os manual and it says you can use a 13x6 prop on the engine, so i think the prop may not be the issues......please...
