This is a really big plane. Had I known it was going to be this big, I may have scaled it back a bit. Looking a a piece of paper on my bench isn't as large as a 3 dimensional model in front of you.

I've been working on the cowling plug somemore. I've been applying drywall compound to the plug to smooth it out before I apply the glass and epoxy. After the epoxy I can then use body filler on it...

Hey Dave, I went with the 222 because it seemed like the perfect fit. plus I got it at a deal. Also nothing sounds like a 4 banger on cans. (to me) :D

Gunder, I have them mostly built. I need to do a little modification to them. Right now they are just pinned in the full out position for setup. I will be ordering a spring for them in a few weeks....

OK guys sorry for the slow pix, I've finally decided which way to go on the wing fillit. I glued 1/32 ply to the wing saddles tonight. More on that later.

Also worked on the bottom elavator...
