If anybody wants a battey pack Ill solder one or two up for you just gotta pay for batteries. I need practice soldering. THe ones I made have held up great so far. $20 gets you two packs

Your EPA set evenly? What do you mean full lock? What is locking? make sure the turnbuckles are even length. You can do the steering mod to get some more steering and pick up some tires with more...

Anyone here running the fioroni turbo sliding clutch? A little pricey but I heard it last a whole season on the same shoes.

Just use the silver ackerman. I shaved off some of the ackerman where it hits the chassis brace for a little more throw also.

Went to race on sunday and took 6th in the main, not bad for my second race. St-1 was tough! no broken anything. Just workin on getting the setup dialed so maybe I could win a race this summer:D

Anyone know what size the engine mount screws are? Dont really show in parts manual, look like 4x12mm but the taper on the screw is off on the ones I was gonna use

Racing is spendy for sure it's just so much fun for me I dont think I could stop. Being a college student is tough on the funds though, dont think I will make every race I want to this summer.

Ya if they are still stock they just have grease in them. Swap that for some diff oil. 5-10-3 is a good starting point.

Try something else probably. I like my st-1 but for racing there are more competitive trucks out there.

Im using the dynamite maxlife shoes and they are sweet! Have a gallon on them and they are still looking good. Also running a ofna vented clutchbell

Your probably on the right track pull your clutch and take a look at it it. Also make sure your linkage is not binding.

Ya the pullstart will get you by, just use a heat gun and loosen the plug a little. Get a starterbox asap though, will make your life much easier.:)

The joy of pullstarts! If you get the chance go with a starter box it's night and day difference when starting.
