+1 on what da rock said. I used to have the same issue with mine. A nice gradual throttle up makes the takeoff look more scale as well.

I don't have any robart struts but couldn't you drive the bushing farther down into the strut to the depth you would need, then cut the top of the strut off? If the bushing has a flange on...

Jim,
Unless I'm wrong, I think your crankshaft centerline should be lined up on the "X" drawn on the firewall. As Pit-Viper stated it looks a little low & possibly a little off to one side.

Jim,
I've got the same slight warp to my fuse as well. After reading your post I went & looked at it. I just did the same as pit viper did & I've had no flight problems either.
