The 'weight' gap was the point of this thread.

At present to use less than 5000 normally means dropping down to 4300/4400.
That is a big drop in capacity - too much for a lot of people.

As is the TP's 4350 and 4400 and other brands that size are quite popular ,certainly in Europe.
A lot of people use this size.

A prolite 10S 5000 weighs 1180g
A prolite 10S 4400 weighs 1040g. This pack works great but in strong wind or for F's it is difficult to keep to the 80% rule.

How about a Prolite 10S...
