Slide it to each side and smear epoxy around the stab so when you slide it back in the glue goes inside the joint. Clean up the excess before it dries with paper towel and alcohol.

Ya I usually wiggle it around and add some if needed, usually it is pretty good. Either way it can get messy so have lots of pieces of paper towel ready and alcohol.

I had the ASP .91 years ago. Ran like a top and never had a lick of trouble with it. I used a 14x6 prop on it. I don't know if the ones today are as good or not though. I bought mine back around 1990.

That is why I always run a hot iron around all the seams and press them down good. I have seen this happen to even high end brands.
