This same stuff has worked fine for me before. I just spray it on real thin and give each coat a day or so to dry. You also have to be careful of where the tape overlaps. What do you usually use?

Here is my WIP, obviously a Z-tune R34. The masking is far from completed and still needs more sanding on the wheel arches but you get the idea. Most everything that is masked in blue will be black...

Wow thats a really good job for your first body! I don't even see any runny paint ;) I would definatly recommend higher offset rims that are chrome or white to break up all that black.
