keithbradley , couple of thoughts here.

-Do you use teflon liner?
-correctly lubed flex shaft?
-stock coupler?
-few mm gap between strut and drive dog?

ebay, promise hobby, good copies.(I got my hull from them)

OSE sells the real Delta hulls, if you live in the states get it from OSE.

Prather s220, best prop I have ever tested on sv and Delta. -better then x642 .(lower temps and a bit faster)

And motor was SV can.

Yes, Delta is one great hull.

I have 8xl all ready to go in, and HiModel 200A esc on the work bench now...

I drive my boats for 3-5 minutes max. Then I´ll get it back to shore and check the temps.

On good LIPO´s I can drive it for 5 mins withous heat issues.

When I had nimh´s i could not...

I used silicone on every bolt .Take everything off the transom and re-install with silicone.

I also epoxied all of the ply´s so they are waterproofed.

Hatch tape helps after it flips ;)...

I received the warranty hull today! (allthough the customs here(finland) were mean to me, i had to pay taxes (22€) -IDIOTS! ) .

Mee too, but it is not allwaus good enough. -45mp/h flip will pop the hatch open(attleast using electric tape)

How fast you want it to go? -the stock motor is good for over 40mph, while staying cool.(atleast mine does so)

I feel your pain ...I lost my gps on speed run also, and it is [:'(] -the thing that pi**es me of most, is that the boat is faster(alot ) now, and i cant get any readings[X(]
