You might think about building the frame of the DVII from dowles instead of square sticks. THAT would slow you down.

Have you thought about the rib stitching tape? It was not pinked, but straight. And the ailerons and elevator did not have tape on them.

If you look close, you can see it here. There are a bunch of people flying the DRI here and they all like it. Nice build you are doing. Thanks for sharing.

I know its a bit early to talk about the covering, but in one of the posts there was a suggestion of buying pinking shears. Fokker DVII, DRI, and DVIII did not use pinked tapes. Just straight...
