If you put winglets on instead of the tip tanks...

If you put winglets on instead of the tip tanks you’d have a Lear 31 instead of a Lear 35.

Ouch! That first maiden looked painful. Good thing it’s a kit built airplane. I think an ARF would have been destroyed.

How do you like the fit of the canopy? I wonder if it would be easy enough to scratch build one...

Good deal! The Lear wouldn't look right with fixed gear IMO. Never worked with electric retracts, only mechanical and pneumatic ones. The 55AX should make it fast too.

Good luck with your build motoman. I also have a kit waiting to be built. Not sure on the engine yet but will plan spring air retracts. Maybe do winglets instead of tip tanks but will need experiment...
