I just converted the 1936 Lanzo Racer to 660 square inches for a friend so he could use the Astro .05 motor. He's building it this winter. We went ahead and made a short kit of it and had the parts...

SAM has a category called 1/2A Texaco that uses antique free-flight conversions around 280 square inches and weigh 16 ounces. Dozens of high-quality short kits available for this at very low prices....

LOTS of stuff available if you are interested in the free-flight endurance planes of that era. A whole organization (SAM) exists for this purpose.
