I would not boil the plastic parts on your Lunchbox, they are not composite or graphite type pieces like on RC10's and Losi's. Tamiya plastic doesnt boil well and could even get soft...

Thomas P, I have a Lunchbox too and love it, I have several side by side packs (Trinity Team Specs) from when I used to race and they do fit in the Battery holder of my Lunchbox. It is a close fit...

I measured the stock wheely bar wheel, its outside diameter is .45 of a inch on my calipers. That translates to 9/16 ths of a inch or just under 5/8 inches. I hope this helps you...
