RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

I found it>>> Had a hairline crack in the CF boom. It started underneath the tail case assembly, and ran about 2 inches. You cannot hardly see it, without flexing the boom. I ran the Shark with...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Seems to possibly be a stock tail thing. That makes 4 of us on this thread so far. I haven't motivated myself enough today to put the Sonix tail on it yet. I'm really lazy today. Watching the...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Rotor, this is the exact problem I have been experiencing with my Shark. Just above 2100, 2200 Rpm, the tail begins a buzzing vibration - then the blades explode apart. After this happened, I have...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Demo, by the looks of the shaft, and the tooth count., it should be right. I have ordered a replacement tailcase, pitch slider, and blade holders. After doing so, I did find an Align site with just...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Feeling like a dodo after I did a tune up on my Shark last night. I had rebuilt the tail assembly from a minor crash 2 weeks ago. Also mentioned before, replaced the tail servo to a Hitec Mg. I...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

I changed out the stock Shark - Art-tech tail servo tonight to a Hitec HS-81 MG servo. Works like a charm. Not more tail servo wiggles. Took about 20 minutes to readjust the servo mount, rewire,...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

A good price. You guys should look at the max discharge rate for the battery also. I read someone pulling 50A with their plane with it in the comments, but seems high. Another said 5 min. runtime....

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Hover,, nice skids... 2 weeks ago I landed my shark in the middle of the baseball field near my house. The tail hit the high spot of the hole, and disintegrated. Darn divits. The bad part was I...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Nitro, I'm finding that I do not like the stock servo on the Shark. I have tuned it in quite well, as far as placement, etc. It just seems to have the jitters. I put a new one, stock, on it, same...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Yeah, kind of what I thought. Mine was getting bound inside the holder. I adjusted the tension a bit, helped only so slightly. Very good idea you have though. I will try that. :D

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

I want to get some input from a few of you guys. On trimming out the tail on the Shark, is the tail pretty much straight? When you throttle up, the shark should stay pretty much straight, without...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

You'll really love this bird. As time permits, and $, get a dx6i or dx7 - huge difference in control and you can program 2 or 3 , or 10 birds into the transmitter. I'm diggin this hobby. [8D]

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

There are parts for the Shark available. Goldrust (Delfin) on Ebay has a decent amount of Shark replacement parts. Look him up. Also the Shark is about 95% compatible with the Trex 450SE.
Great...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

I tend to agree with Nitro. If you are promoting another type, or brand of Trex., It should be started in a new forum of its own.

The Hone is a nice Heli, but shouldn't be advertised in here. ...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

The only real reason we had mounted the gyro down below, is due to having 2 receivers with the Spektrum dx6i setup. This allowed for us to mount the smaller secondary receiver up top, where the gyro...
