Here is the modified battery tray. I just cut out the out side of the tray and added a couple straps. This allows me to use thicker batteries. Work perfect!

Here is the CRT.5 on 3s. I wil take another vid of it on the 4s battery once I get an adaptor for the charge lead. I think 3s is just about right though! The center diff is still limiting the power...

I had those on it when I did speed run on nitro. I just haven't switch them yet. I have a set of dirthawgs in the package and the original pins tires that came with the kit. I'll just run those...

6s would be nuts! I might give that a try if I can figure out how to mount one of my 6s batts to it! I think 3s would be about right for this set up.

OK...It's done! got everything mounted, pluged in and secured. just did a quick 2 minute test run outside on the wet streets to see that everything works and I think its good to go!

I'll probably only run it on 3s so not quite the same as 6s in an 1/8 truggy. There are a couple reasons for doing this:

1) because I can.
2) to be able to say I did!

When I ran it as nitro I had a Weeks B6 .21 race engine. So yeah, overkill is what I do!

I just went ahead and ordered the regular mount as I know it works. I am also considering dropping in a Mamba monster motor and I'm not sure if I would be able to fabricate the HV mount to work with...

Anybody tried the Ofna HV Type Motor mount on these trucks? I am about to order the mount and the parts tree for the conversion. looks like a nicer mount than the standard mount.

Dirt hawgs are good but you want these ones. they will fit on the wheels that come with the kit. I have a set and they are nice.

These truck were designed to run on nitro motors that only pull between 30,000-38000rpm on the high end. 2700 kv will do 29970 rpm at 11.1v and 34020 rpm at 12.6v and will have more than enough...

The cars looking good buddy! Considering going brushless with mine now. I just got a hold of a Mamba Max Pro I think I'm going to drop in a 2700 kv motor in there and gear it for 110-120 degrees.
