You can't rotate the cylinder, a few guys here already tried this.
Beware of playing with the cylinder screws, the threads don't last to much...

The auto advance should give smooth running at any rpm and easy start witout kicking.

3 options I think about:

1. Better wrapping for less radio interference and easier mouting.
2. Ignition with auto advance system, like the new 26cc engine have.
3. 1+2 [8D]

I think the muffler was the biggest problem so they changed it right at first to the round one.

Roman,

You can see in the photos how the new metal carb mount look like.
Also the new muffler with the new round header.
The new version also have a big black ignition box and not green.

It kicked back to me while trying to start with choke, I flet it in my hand....
A few times it's started backwards.

Michael,

Do you start it with choke ?
I used to start it with choke but always got a small kick, now I put choke and ignition off and turn the prop more and start it without choke easly.

I have an electronic ignition like every GF45I.
for the first 3 hours I ran semi-synthetic oil at 1:25, after that I went to 1:33 fully synthetic for hour and then 1:40.

Although the engine is the same inside from what I understand.
The new engines come with auto advance ignition ? if they do, that's why the manual say 93.

I use 98 octane unledead like the manual say, and 1:40 mixture after break-in, running very good,mine is the first series of engines came.

I used a piece of cardboard first, and got about 600 more rpm.
Then I bought the GP velocity stack which works great too.

The specs say dry weight, I think it's only the engine.

I have a bigger bore carb and new shape velocity stack on the way to test.
Once I'll get it and try I will post the results here.
