I do the same as SS40. I like a nice long final app. Good AOA and adjust the descend with throttle. you can put it where you want.

with 75AX I put a 2nd bat. in the rear + some lead to get it to 5 7/8"-6" . I still have the down thrust in it.

Too Funny!!!! I do have a 55AX That thing pulls really good. (so it should do a good job for your paper airplane):D

it is really fun to fly but that .45 to me is a dog ...a .52 or .61 will do much better...I have a .75ax on my bird

I do know that, And also seen very fast airplanes with small motors, But over all performance such as vertical climb and nice loops

Taking out the down thust does help for sure,But to say this plane is "light" IMHO thats far from true And yes a .45 will pull it around and do O K . But if you want it to fly FAST and FUN you need...

It is a whole new plane with the 75 on it .... goes like crazy and big old loops and nice rolls !!! BUT when you cut the power it will drop like a rock... A buddy of mine has one with a 61 in it,...

As you know, its not much of a plane(more like a flying rock) But I still fly mine with O S 75 ax in it. and it goes pretty darn good...I did buy 2 on E-bay cheap 53.00 + 73.00 (new) (just in case)

I have a SO75 AX .....I did not have even bend mine and I used the same clevis. I only had to trim the cowl a bit....The motor mount was the hardest part.(not that hard) and the longer landing...

lbarnes, you right, But with a larger motor I could not move enough stuff to the rear to C G it at 6" It was a bit nose heavy with the .45 E. motor in it. I hate to add weight to any airplane!!!!

Markind, It is a heavy plane, Mine is 9lbs.13ozs with full fuel tank.(Drubro 12oz tank)

lbarnes, I think you are right. I did see that someone said 7" ....Seems a bit far back to me. Mine is at 6" and flies well but I think it is just a bit nose heavy....Going to move it to 5.75" when...

Maybe your right Markind, I put a 2nd bat. and a bit more lead in the tail end and was good to go. Stayed with the 6" C G. I flies really nice and FAST:D with the OS75 on her...Put when you cut the...

I'M JEALOUS!!!!!! Have not flown mine in weeks....Vermont, it's a little cool, and my runway has a foot of snow on it. I do fly on skis (old trainer)some. But have to pick those VERY few nice...

Hello all, new to this f-22 forum....I have one that I flew 1 time with a .45 (very poor) but made it without a crash...I have put a O S .75ax on it and goes VERY nice now....(about 6 or 8...
