I really like the way you are attaching the outer wings.I'll probably do the same when I get around to assembling mine. Seems much easier than the stock set-up.

I have also heard of using a coat clear to seal the edges before applying the second color. There is a tape out called Frog tape, it is supposed to be a self sealing tape, available at home supply...

Yes , I have the SS also. I am just finishing up the PT-17. I'm installing a DLE 20 for power it will be my first gas build. Lots to learn over running nitro, kind of like learning...
